Jan Jansen x London Fashion Week
The archive collection from Dutch shoe designer Jan Jansen was shown at London Fashion Week.
The shoe collection of Jan Jansen Amsterdam was part the fashion show 'SCALES' AW'23 from designer Feben.
Feben's collection is inspired by the tarot card: The Chariot. A spiritual cipher for the process of moving on from hardship and enduring strength, her interpretation of the card’s powerful symbolism culminates in a nuanced play of contrasts; a recognition of the dichotomies and paradoxes that result in the radical eclecticism and strength of the Feben woman.
The collection was completed with the historic and current shoe collection by Dutch designer Jan Jansen. A highlight of the fashion show was the appearance of British singer Jorja Smith on the Peacock! It was no coincidence that Jan Jansen was part of the Feben SCALES AW'23. Designer Feben has been a long-time fan of Jan Jansen and big collector of his shoes. The fashion show provided an ideal stage for the rich history of this iconic shoe brand. Clearly, Jan Jansen's shoes are still relevant and timeless.
We will offer part of the historic collection for sale later this year. Also, this is not the last collaboration between Feben and Jan Jansen, the first sketches for the Jan Jansen Art x Feben shoes are already on the drawing board.
